Do you seriously have ISSUES with Obama's Presidency or does it go beyond ? His Skin ?.......mayb

have seen questions that aims fiery targets at Obama. My thing is we all know he is not a saint the man got faults and mistakes like all of us. But how come most US citizens expect him to be PERFECT AND MR. FIX IT ALL? Was George Bush perfect ? Did you questioned his presidency when he sent 1000's of your sons, brothers, fathers etc like lambs to the slaughter to Afghan and iraq? When he left your country starving for the want of an econony all because of his WAR BLOOD? Was Bill Clinton perfect. Your issues with Obama is deeper than the things he does. OBAMA is just a figure head d G's Rule.

It's soooo sad to see the age we live in where some people still find it fit to mingle in racial affairs, let the colour of people's skin etc be there barrier to seeing beyond. I'd tell you this God gots no grandchildren , we can be purple, black or white if we are wrong he will chasten us if we are his own. America is still shell shocked a BLACK MAN governs over them too bad! The Most high puts up whomSOEVER He will and likewise take them down.

He's 1/2 black, so mulatto. And I despise that half of him too. I would despise any feckless liberal commie like him doing the things he is doing deliberately to destroy my country. He is not, and was not, qualified to be POTUS, period full stop.

I would like him more if he followed the constitution. I know he's not perfect, but there are plenty of presidents that have done a better job than he has. I don't mind having a black president, but I think Obama isn't the best for the USA. If we had a black president that actually followed the constitution I would be happy.

Look at how big the national debt has gotten since he's been elected. Yeah, people make mistakes, but this is just ridiculous. It's hard to see that as just a mistake.

What constitutional laws has he broken? What I've read shows he has used his executive powers legally. It's seems to me just because people disagree with him they want him to have less power than any other president. The debt is actually less!

He's broken the 10th amendment plenty of times. The NSA is unreasonable searching. He gives way too many executive orders. I'm sure there's more than that. He even said he doesn't like the constitution because it's too limiting.

Snowman, you seem to have forgotten George W. Bush's role in the Patriot Act and utilization of the NSA to bypass the FISA.  Are you critical of 'W?"

I don't like George W. Bush either. He went against the constitution a lot too.

Don't blame the state of the economy on Obama. America has been known as a BAD debt payer. Plus they live off of Credit everything is credit credit credit, If you want a sweetie they credit it. People suck off of the welfare etc. #STOPCREDITING

During the bush administration the national debt was about 5.8 trillion. Now it's about 17 trillion according to usdebtclock.org. Obama has spent more money than every previous president combined.

snowman it seems like he spent it on you so you're well acquainted with the figures. I am sure it has a lot more 1000's of mouths to feed and credit termites to contribute money to. Plus he maybe paying back all the debts Bush left him......

My guess is it is a little bit of everything for those folks. The reality is politics has been nasty for quite awhile. Over the last 20 years for sure. Bill Clinton caught hell from the Republicans, George W. caught hell from the Democrats, and Obama is catching hell not just from the Republicans but also from the "Tea Party."
Hilary Clinton is starting to be attacked and she's not even a candidate for president! The election is 2 years away!
When there were primarily two parties from time to time they'd agree on things to push legislation through. In today's climate (compromise) is another word for "traitor". Neither party wants to be seen as working with the other. The "Tea Party" doesn't want to "fix things" they want to blow them up! No other president has ever had to deal with multiple threats of government shutdowns.
No matter who the sitting president is if things go well nationally during their term it becomes that much harder to the convince country to vote for (the other party). There is no incentive on a national level to (help) a guy in an opposing party. The last thing one wants to do is make him or his party look good.
Last but not least I do see there is a lot more personal venom being spewed at this president. Questions about birth certificates, religion, and every single idea is automatically a bad one simply because it came from him, even if it was originally something (both sides) agreed upon.
Without a doubt Obama is far from being perfect but only a fool would say we're worse off economically than we were when he took office in 2009.
It's also a fantasy to believe if he left office today that a (president Joe Biden) would dismantle Obamacare or any of the other programs and executive orders that have already been put in place.
They don't realize a president follows the ideology of his/her (political party). Congress and the Senate passes the bulk of all legislation. Blaming a president for pushing his/her party's agenda which they ran on makes little sense. It's a waste of time to attack a 2nd term president unless the goal is to make their party look bad as whole with the hope the country won't for them again.
It will be interesting to see what happens in 2016!

Dashing scorpio i so agree with you. People need to understand that its the  BIG MEN behind obama who pushes him around to do there dirty work and not he himself. He is the puppet as all other presidents have been the big guys moves the strings

I don't think that 'most' citizens expect him to be perfect. He wouldn't have gotten reelected in 2012 if his nay-sayers were the majority. The reality is that the people who don't like him are more vocal than those that do. Certain groups, like the tea party, are just better at shouting the loudest. They hate the Obama caricature; the muslim socialist born in kenya, not the real man.

In politics, getting your base angry and shouting is the way to get noticed. Which is unfortunate because angering people to the polls isn't what I think the founding fathers envisioned.

I don't like him, I didn't like Bush, I didn't like Clinton and the list goes on. It has nothing to do with skin color or party lines. I don't trust any of them, the politics in this country have become very corrupt. Those in power don't listen to the people, they listen to the ones who pay them. They are just good at spinning something to make it look good and make it seem that this is what the people want. The way I see it, it is all a way to keep the people divided and fighting amongst ourselves. When people finally see that there will be change.

Katrina thanks much for your reply i appreciate it well atleast your honest but there are those who viciously attack Obama alone. While all others were just as corrupted maybe in different ways. But fair is fair just don't pick on the Black man!

Katrina - Since the ideological gap in this country between Democrats and Republicans is wider than ever, how can you expect change? Both parties nominate candidates, and one of them will win (even if it takes intervention by the Supreme Court.)

Hatred isn't politics, it is just an immoral stain on one's own soul. I'm not sure there are more people filled with hatred today than there ever was, but they certainly are amplified, which I think is a combination of the greater ability to connect via the internet and the intentional foment driven by the conservative media (i.e. FOX, Breitbart, Alex Jones, Limbaugh, etc.)

The right-wing almost literally hasn't said anything rational in years. Superkev is a glorious exemplifier of hate combined with stupefyingly daft irrationality and instead of actually discussing a legitimate difference of opinion, he bloviates nonsense about commie destroyers, which unfortunately, seems to be the norm of the right-wing these days.

The Americans killed at Benghazi was most likely just a consequence of 'war'. At worst was maybe something like poor intelligence, poor funding, all of which would be worth talking about, but instead we get accusations of treason, murder, and lies, and calls for impeachment.

A discussion about gun control, which should be had, becomes a story about black boots kicking in your door to take away people's guns and freedom. Trayvon Martin becomes reverse racism. Improving the healthcare system becomes death panels. Equality becomes an attack on Christianity. Global warming is a mass conspiracy to control the world. A woman talking about birth control becomes a slut. Obama taking a leak is an attempt to poison the water supply, etc.

Every single issue we are faced with today is sullied with this exaggerated hyperbole. This is a disastrous situation for two reasons. One, is the high volume of venom is simply toxic to public discourse, and two, is that we actually have some serious issues which need to be dealt with, and as long as we do nothing but engage in a spit-fight, that won't happen.

The right-wing needs to tone done their rhetoric and actually talk about real issues, but more importantly, actually propose solutions. I don't see that happening. No one on the right, of prominence, or in a leadership position, is rational and reasonable, and anyone who is, or relatively so, such as Eric Cantor, is kicked to the curb.

You're so right. Even if there are a few (and I mean very few) reasonable moderate Republicans in Congress who might be willing to negotiate and try to resolve major problems, you can count on the Tea Partiers to stifle them.

I live in the Deep South USA, so I know for a fact that racism is alive and well here, as well as in much of the rest of this land. I've read some horrible racist comments about President Obama on some forums, remarks that had nothing to do with his ability to do his job, but merely racist diatribe.

This attitude, plus the ability of the GOP propaganda machine to push all the other 'hot button' topics that sweep poor white voters into their camp (while at the same time shooting said poor white voters in the foot economically) is why so many states that are solid red are also the poorest in the nation.

This is why I say that anyone who continues to think the United States is 'the greatest country on earth' is in a state of denial. The U.S. seems destined to implode from within in a foment of hatred. If I didn't have a family that I'd like to spend my 'golden' years near, I'd immigrate to Panama or Ecuador to enjoy my retirement in an environment of sanity and peace.
